a graduate.

I graduated high school.
Biiiiiiiig day for everyone involved. Skyline High School was....my life. Everyone and everything associated with SHS were all I thought about. Well...okay not ALL I thought about, but it was high school, and in high school, everything matters. And because everything matters, leaving all of it behind is a big deal...am I right? But once you do, you feel....

LIBERATED
me, mom, dad

My parents are amazing. They support me endlessly. Every piano performance, choir show, or play I've been in, they were there. If it ran multiple nights, they were there every night. My dad usually filmed in the back...I suppose for wedding video purposes. My mom can annoy me more than anyone else. She knows how to push my buttons, and she knows everything I don't like. However, because she knows all those things, she knows how to motivate me. She knows how to get under my skin and get me to do things and to do my best because, otherwise, I would probably be sitting on my butt all day watching America's Next Top Model (more posts on that later). She is the kindest, hardest working, determined little feisty woman I know. We refer to her as Edna Mode. You can see it, can't you. Yes. You can. I could never give my mom enough credit for who I am (some of which is embarrassing). She is the best example of a strong, working mother, and her love for our family is never ending. Love you mom! My dad is a sweetheart. He is the cooliest. He loves to have fun, and he and I have the SAME personality. We are lazy, we love lounging, we're quick to argue, and we have zero to no patience. Because of that, he understands me more than anyone else. My dad and I have always been a pair. Inseparable. We both love the play Wicked, and we cry every time we see it. I love my dad, and he is such a nice and gentle example...he is a favorite among my friends. He knows just what to say to get them smiling, and he's not even creepy! I love you dad!
My parents aren't perfect, but they're perfect for me.

 me, gramps

This is Grandpa Dale. He is doing the signature "Grandpa" pose. This old man has lived with me since before I was born. He is the FUNNIEST old man ever. He is a neighborhood favorite, and known by Grandpa Dale to all. He has selective hearing...aka he can hear just fine, but when my mom's annoying him, or trying to get him to clean his bathroom, he can't hear a dang thing. I am so glad I've gotten to live with him my whole life--I have a special bond with him that none of my other cousins have. It's almost selfish, and I wouldn't let him live somewhere else even if he wanted to. I love him so much, and I miss him now that I'm in college. I miss his stories and all of his songs from when he was younger. If he ever leaves me, I don't know what I'll do--I'll be miserable, that's what I'll be. But for now, I am the happiest when I'm sitting with him.

quinn, me, holden, kellie

Kellie is my darling older half sister. We don't say half in my house. She's my darling older sister. And the two adorable little ones are Quinn (4) and Holden (2). They are my sunshine (cheesy, right?). I had the pleasure of nannying these two while Kellie and her husband, Justin worked this summer. They are the biggest pains in the...you know what. They whine and they cry. But they're mine, and I wouldn't trade them for anything ever. They are the funniest little kids, and they know just what to say to make me smile. My sister has always been the COOLEST girl. She was the awesome older sister that would drive me around everywhere, and give me whatever I want. She still does. And I love her and the kids so much.

 me, eliza

This is my sister, Eliza Glauser.
We are quite a pair. She and I can talk for hours. We are crazy and we love to cause some trouble. Maybe a little creeping here and there? Hard to say. It all depends on whatever we feel like doing. Answering to dances, shopping for ugly swimsuits, or just chattin in a park...we do it all I miss her so much, and I can't wait till I see her again!

derek, stewart

Stewart Griffin and Derek Jesse are the nicest boys. They have such dynamic and kind personalities, you can't help but love to be around them! I've known Stew since the 7th grade, and we've been great friends since! He is such a kind boy, and his spirit radiates from him. He is inclusive and respects everyone he meets. Derek is hilarious. If you need a good laugh, talk to this kid. He'll make you laugh any time, and he'll do wonders for your bad mood.

mailee, erin, and liza

These three girls are my juniors. Well, they're all older than me, but...you get the picture. Miss Mailee is full of spunk, sarcasm, and laughter. She's always great for a laugh, and is as determined as crap. Erin is kind, sweet, and inclusive of everyone. She has a special gift of being able to lift anyone's spirits. Liza is the most gifted musician I've ever met. You ask her to write a song, and BAM...an amazing musical number. She is such a strong person and has had to deal with so much in her life, and she makes the most of her situation and puts her whole heart in everything she does. I miss these girls so much!

Jonathan Johnson IV

Jonathan Edwin Johnson IV. A dynasty. What a stature eh? I would say he's 6"4', but he'd look at me with the face I always get and tell me, "Uhm...i'm 6"5'." Ohhh...my bad JJ. JJ and I have had quite a friendship...it mostly consisted of one of us saying something to get on the other's nerves, the one who was annoyed glaring at the other, and then both of us laughing at each other a few minutes later. We have had classic memories together...financial lit, going to get bear claws, discussing modern family, going to midnight movies, and many more. I believe Jonny and I are meant to be...but *sigh* alas, he doesn't. Maybe one day, he'll see that we are soul mates, and then our destinies can align. Until then, JJ, I miss you!!

laura

This is Laura Ann Benson, one of the funniest, nicest most genuine girls you'll ever meet. She can make you smile on any given occasion, and she cares deeply about all of her friends. She has perfected her "Sid the Sloth" voice, and is an amazing athlete. She is fantastic in basketball, and she is on scholarship to Idaho State University playing soccer! She deserves every happiness in the world because she is such a sweet, sweet girl, and I miss her so much!

RJ

This is Ryan Johnson aka RJ. He has been called to serve a mission in Peru! AP American wouldn't have been the same without him. Chillin in the back writing movie quotes to each other while Ms. Olsen talked about slaves was da bomb. He is so funny, and we both like a lot of the same things. He is an AMAZING guitarist, and he has a great voice to go along with it! He'd never tell you this, but he writes songs. Good ones. Ones that make me jealous. I miss discussing the great questions of life with him, and exchanging lyrics...he always tells me if they suck or not.
What a true friend!

sammy

Samuel Edward Meredith. SBO President, academics wiz, and singer extraordinaire. He can talk about anything for any amount of time, and he can throw out facts that...probably no one wanted to know. Heh...I've known Sam since 7th grade, and there has never been a dull moment. Sam has recently realized he has an amazing singing voice. He made me cry whilst singing, "Old Man River" for our Madrigals show. He will go far with his Vocal Music major! I'm so glad he's up here at USU with me!

jordan and brian

Jordan King and Brian Woodbury. What goofballs. I've known these boys for a long time, and their wit and humor has only become more entertaining. They are both studying music at BYU, and they are doing splendidly! Brian, of course, is the lead trombonist in the BYU jazz band (I think that's what it is), and Jodan is taking 21 credits full of music. I told him it's crazy. You agree, right?
We've all had fantastic times, and I wish we could go back a few months so I could relive some of them!

bret

Bret Richmond Clapier is one of the best boys I know. Such a gentleman, willing to help anyone out with anything. Not to mention, he's absolutely hilarious. Calling people "fetchers"...who does that?? Oh yeah, he does. And because of him saying that, everyone says it. Bret and his friends are definitely quite the crew, and they bring the party with them wherever they go! Luckily, Bret goes to USU, and I get to sing with him all the time! We sound great together, and we have a lot of fun!

chelsea and sherie

Ahhhh what would this post be without the Millwards?? Identical twins. Obviously. They are vastly different, but such caring girls. I can talk to Sherie about ANYTHING, and whenever we do talk, we end up spending at least an hour on the phone. She's at BYUI and she's loving it!! She is a boy magnet, and is sure to find that "special someone" soon enough, eh Sher? Chelsea LOVES to perform, just like me! She's loud, spastic, and has great talent...also like me! Heh...jk jk lolz. I love these two so much, and miss going to their house!
Can't wait for Thanksgiving, Ladies!!

ewizabeff

Miss Elizabeth Anne White is amazing. What else needs to be said?? She is an internationally acclaimed harpist, and she has a voice that can sail above the clouds. She and I complement each other because she is structured while I am scattered, she is responsible while I am forgetful, she is more reserved, while I am....not. She is a soprano while I am an alto, and because of all these things, we have been great friends! When we sing together, we sound so good!! I miss her so much--she attends Curtis, a music university, and she's majoring in harp (doy). Again, can't wait till Thanksgiving!!

adrie and kyra

bree

Kyra, Adrie, and Bree Cox are the cutest girls ever. I'm right, aren't I? They are Bret's nieces and they are hilarious. I've had the opportunity to play with them on multiple occasions, and when we do play, we sing, we dance, we cartwheel, we run around...we have the best time!

maggie

Maggie Sarah Princess Brown. Where do I begin?? Hmmmm...let me start off with how psycho my eyes look in this picture. Huh. Alright. Anywho, Maggie. Maggie, Maggie, Maggie. I honestly can't start! She is CRAZAY!!! Loud, flirty, all over the place, can't focus...maybe out of control? Yes. That's it. She and I are best friends, and I love her so much! She's at the Y, and I wish every day that she was at USU. But, I know she's having a fantastic time, and she's making a lot of new friends....boys go crazy of her. She'll be fine :).
Love you Mags!

julie

Zees is Julie Ann Nelson. Her photography talent is...unreal. She can take a picture of anything and make it look artistic. She is so so so talented, and it's a good thing she's studying photography and graphic design at UVU! I miss her so much. Julie and I didn't really start becoming friends until senior year---stupid choice. We clicked right off the bat, and we have been best friends ever since!! We can talk about anything, and have so many similarities: our love for Harry Potter, our struggles with boys, our taste in music, love for family, sense of humor...you get the idea. I can't wait to skype her. I think I'll do that now.

paige

Aaaaaand last picture, but definitely not least is Paige Marie Heyn. Paige was the girl in 7th grade that was cool. She was dating Will Watkins (hunk), she was in a band (drummer), she was ultra smart (gt science award), she was really charismatic, and I wanted to be her friend. But, I wasn't cool enough. We both admit that now. So, our friendship really began in 9th grade. Spanish music video. Que Hiciste. Check it on youtube. We rock. After that, we only became better friends. Paige's family is...basically my second family. I'm over at the Heyn house SO much, and I miss her family almost as much as I miss her! We....are the same. We think alike, we talk alike, we act alike...it's freaky. We've gotten used to it, and we just laugh about it now. I got to spend most of my Halloween weekend with her, and it was SO fun!
There is never a dull moment.
Oh, Hey Girl.

Well, now that that took my whole life.....
So, as you can see, I graduated from high school!
There are people I haven't even mentioned yet!
That'll have to come later!!

I heart my life.
And yes mom, I have been brushing my teeth.
