One day, my friend Paige and I were talking about God.
We were discussing the fact that He knows what's up.
He knows what's going on in everyone's life, He knows what everyone needs to do in order to be happy, He knows what problems certain people need to have so they can grow stronger...the list is ENDLESS. Seriously!


Anyway, as we continued our conversation, we thought of a few more men that fit into this category. 

They Know What's Up

Santa Claus is a man who knows what's up. "He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good..." It may be a little creepy, but the fact that Santa can deliver the right toys to the right boys and girls is AMAZING! He also knows which boys and girls deserve coal.

He definitely deserves to be on the list.

Jay Gundersen is another man that belongs on the list. Why? Because he's Gundy, that's why. He is such a fantastic teacher, and although he acts like a woman sometimes, he is such a great man. You can't help but love him! It's inexplicable, but he has a spot on the list.

Another man that belongs on the "They Know What's Up" list is Gordon Bitner Hinckley. He is my favorite prophet. Yes, I'm probably biased because he was the prophet from the time I was 3 until I was 16. The most important time of life. He was MY prophet. I know a bunch of people feel the same. Every single thing he said and did exuded pure goodness. Every one from every culture, race and background couldn't say one bad thing about President Hinckley. He was such a GOOD man. His little fedora and cane are his trade marks, and he is the cutest thing ever. Every General Conference, I couldn't wait to hear him speak. Even when he was just conducting the session, his humor and wisdom were enough to get people smiling while maintaining the spirit. 

His silent and strong demeanor with hilarious undertones is something that I miss more than anything. He knows what's up. He gave us the PERFECT solutions to problems, and he knew everything we need to do in order to be happy and live the lives we were meant to! I love President Hinckley and always will!

Well, so far, those are the only people on our "The Know What's Up" list. I'm sure Paige and I will find more.
