mother dear, i love you so!

This, everyone, is my mother. Look at that car! (that's what my grandpa says every time he sees this picture) But seriously, isn't she fabulous!? That blue outfit really compliments her coloring.
My mother is amazing. She and I used to butt heads a lot, but ever since I went to college, we've become BEST FRIENDS. I tell her everything. She tells me everything. Sometimes she annoys me more than anything, but she always knows what's best for me. She knows what I'm capable of, and is always pushing me to do my best. She paid for all my lessons, all my clothes, all my food...you know, the usual stuff. But she's encouraged me, given me a fantastic role model to look up to, and blessed me with gorgeous genes.

I surpassed my mother in height by the time i was 13. Don't ask me why I'm so much taller than my mom and sister, but I am. My mom and I fight. Verbally, yes, but I'm talking physical fights. Not legitimate, but little kicks, licks, pinches...it sounds bad. But it's not.

She's pretty cool.

And thoughtful.
This was a thank you note that she wrote me after I gave her roses on Mother's Day. All my best qualities come from my mom (and dad) but my mom has really engrained being good, inclusive friend, thinking of others, being proactive, and doing all I can in my head.

Thank you mom for being a wonderful woman! You are the best!
