First off, a quick shout-out to my friend Hunter Tolman! His farewell was today, and he did an AMAZING job! The people of Thailand are lucky to have you!
Anyway, I would like to say my piece about Easter.
Easter is such an important part of the year, and this year, I've kind of...not been as attentive as I could've. I was super pumped to go home and have a relaxing weekend, so that was my main focus.
However, on Saturday morning, I had the chance to go to orientation for Institute Women's Association. I am going to be the secretary in the Zion chapter. (ya'll should come!) I got to meet with some amazing women and discuss the responsibilities I will have. My main job will be to integrate service into my chapter. I have been getting promptings/little nudgings from the Spirit telling me that I need to be more service minded. So that was a definite blessing!! I can't wait to take part in the Summer Scripture Challenge and grow so much more as a person!
I think the way Easter has touched my life this year is through promptings. The Savior DIED FOR ME, and He did it so we could all have an equal chance at eternal life. I need to do my part and develop a glorious relationship with the Lord, so that I can be more gospel-minded.
Also, I need to have more patience with my parents. My ability to stay calm is not very good...it needs to get better. Bleh. It'll get better :)
I hope all of you had a Happy Easter!
