favaunt

I need to take a minute out of my day and post about three of my favorite people.

Okay. Let's get real. This is the most productive thing I've done all day.

Anyway, my Aunt Diana, and cousins Christina and John fill my heart with joy and laughter. I love them so much!
Last week, my Aunt and I were chatting on fb, and she told me the best news I've ever heard...actually two pieces of blessed information:
1. She and her family are moving from Maryland to Idaho Falls in a year! This is so happy because they'll only live about an hour and a half away from Logan! I can take the shuttle up to their house any ol' weekend I want!! Plus, it'll be easier for them to come home for family get-togethers, and we can be together all the days!
2. Because they're moving, they have to start fixing up their house, so my aunt and the kids will be here extra long this summer!!
Oh happy day!!!!!!!!

This is my Aunt Diana (aka Favaunt).
I call her Favaunt because it's an abrev. of Favorite Aunt...we're hoping this will disguise the actual meaning so as not to make my other aunts jealous. Ever since I can remember, Diana has been my favorite. Whenever she came to visit, my mom was more calm, I got to go out to dinner a lot, and Diana and I took special trips to Starbucks, the movie theater, and the mall.

One visit, my aunt brought with her a baby girl.
Christina Marie Yates

This is the early Christina. Even as a baby, this little girl has SO much attitude. She knows what she wants, and she gets what she wants when she wants it.
Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

This is the DEFINITION of Christina. Sometimes she can be quite a handful, but she is smart, beautiful, clever, talented and sassy. She often gets in trouble because, what can we say, her little brother can be quite a handful and sometimes a little fighting goes on. However, she has the most contagious laugh and one of the greatest voices I've ever heard, and we have some pretty great times!

A few years later, Diana brought another little baby with her!
John Andrew Yates

John has been such a blessing to my aunt, and to our entire family! He is such a sweet boy, but let's say mama's boy is a little bit of an understatement :) It is IMPOSSIBLE to stay mad at this kid. When he first learned to talk, he would say "the darndest things." My mom was "Yanie" instead of Janie, he would always say, "Whoooop!! Mine bad!" and he called his mom, "Diayynaaa." Oh the things he used to say. Now that he's older, he knows he's funny....but we all still laugh.

The classic, "Crazy Eyes." Here is the dance that goes with it.

My two favorite boys!

Daniel Boone?

Anyway, the news of these guys moving closer to me is almost more than I can handle! I can't wait to spend days and days and days with them!!!
