I think eleven goals because, well, it's 2011.
Eleven for '11
1. Stop Procrastinating

I need to be able to manage my time more wisely. I need to stop wasting time (aka blogging, fb stalking, netflix, photoboothing, etc...) and become more aware of due dates and things around me. I like to call it, "productive procrastination", but that is just another justification technique. I'm a pro. Don't try to stop me. Actually, do.
2. Make New Friends
These ladies are some of my best friends. I love them and miss them dearly. The problem is, I need to make new friends. I need to meet new people, and I need to put myself out there. I know that will be the key to more happiness in Logan.
3. Write and Perform More Often
I need to write songs, sing and perform more often. I want to get myself out there, and the only way to get myself out there, is to...get myself out there. I love singing, and I want people to feel my appreciation for music as well. I want to be able to portray my emotions, and use lyrics combined with music to reach people. To make them think. I recently picked up guitar, so we'll see how polishing up my guitar and piano skillz goes! I need to sign up for pobev or something.
4. Get All As.

I need to get all "A"s. Last semester, I failed Math 1050. Like, straight up F. That cannot happen again, so to ensure my "A" streak, I need to become much more determined and have a greater desire to do well. I am hoping to place into at LEAST Math 1010 so I can take Math 1050 over the summer. I really need to get into the Education Program so I can begin my life as a teacher!
5. Write More Letters

I LOVE to write letters. I think getting a hand-written letter means so much more to people. It may take longer to get to where it's supposed to go, but the fact that someone took time to write to you--one of the best feelings ever! I want to let people know I miss them or that I'm thinking about them by writing them a letter. I think it'll be a good habit to start.
6. Get More Exercise
I definitely need to exercise more. I'm getting pudgy, and it NEEDS to be put to an end. I have waaaaaayyy too much time to not! I'm taking a tumbling class this semester and I'm in a play, so I'm going to be moving quite a lot! I've made a goal to go to the gym at least three times a week, and that way, I can be fit and ready for anything! (like a boyfriend, perhaps...?)
7. Pick Up The Art Of Photography

I've always wanted to be a photographer. I love looking at professional work, and recently, two of my best friends have gotten into photography. My friend Julie is an AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER, and she has a blog! Please check her out! I hope to get a camera (such as the one above) and just start experimenting with it! I want to document cute moments in my life--which means I'll probs take my camera EVERYWHERE!
8. Better Scripture Study

I need to be a better scriptorian. I know a lot about the scriptures, but I need to know deeper. Does that make sense? My goal for the new year is to finish the Book of Mormon at least once. Hopefully twice! Here's to a stronger testimony!
9. Be Clean (both ways)

It's a known fact: I need to shower more. The longest I went without showering last semester was...6 days? 7? I know. DISGUSTING. I also need to shave my legs more. Just puttin that out there. I need to also keep my mind in a better place. Although I think it's HILAR, I believe trying to do so will be best for me.
We'll see how I do, eh?
10. Apply for the Elementary Education Program

By October, I want to be ready to apply to the Elementary Ed program up here at Utah State. I have a few tests to take, and I have to complete a couple more classes, but I think that I will be good to go by October! I can't wait to start my journey as a teacher!
11. Read 11 Books

I want to read more books. I NEED to read more books. Reading will keep my mind in shape. I spend too much time on the computer and on the TV. I want to read at least 11 books. It's not a ton, but it's realistic. I think I can do it!
